Delaware Memorial Bridge to Chincoteague

I'm going to Chincoteague form Delaware Memorial Bridge and want to know best way. Should I use Rt 13 or Rt 113. I've used 13 in the past, but a lot of traffic lights so I was wondering if 113 was better. If any one is familiar with this drive I'd appreciate any feed back. The trip planner says it's about 15 minutes longer using 113, but I don't think it considers all the traffic lights.

Living in Dover I use Rt 113 which has less traffic and less lights. RT 13 has several cities to get through with lights and heavier traffic which actual drive time can be more that 113.

You would be better off taking Rt 1 from the bridge to Milford where Rt 1 and Rt 113 split. Rt 1 is a toll but you avoid all the traffic and lights on 13.

Take Rt 1 and then get on 13 south of Dover.
