Exit Now Directory

I have a 2010 edition of the Exit Now Interstate Exit Directory published by Good Sam. Does anyone know why this directory was no longer published after 2012?

This was the best interstate highway directories I have ever owned. I love the layout and how it was bound so that the ages laid flat without binding up.

Any information about this publication would be greatly appreciated.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year. Safe travels too.

Exit Now was far superior to Next Exit. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for all your replies. We too have a copy of the Next Exit. However, we preferred the Exit Now. We are sorry to see the Exit Now is no longer available.

Have a Merry Christmas and a blessed, safe and healthy new year.

I literally just threw the 2011 copy I had in the trash yesterday. I think I tried to use it on one trip and that's it. With the apps that are available today, that publication went the way of the dodo.

Not the same thing. The original was published by Trailer Life Publications. This one in the link is self published by an individual. Maybe better, maybe worse, and maybe just a plagiarism from the old versions by Trailer Life.

I was sorry to see it go because I liked it better than Next Exit because it had info on a particular highway all in one place instead of having to switch pages to find continuity. But alas!

H E R E is your answer. As stated above, it apparently was not a profitable endeavour so it ceased publication. Likely fell victim to the various apps that are out there and available. Not saying that's a good thing, just as a potential cause. Many good publications become victims of something coming along that usurps their usefulness to the general public.

It was published by Trailer Life Publications, which I believe is or was part of Good Sam/Camping World. Since they are a for profit company, I suspect that the endeavor was no longer profitable.
