Has anyone used Hwy 7/72 south out of Estes Park, CO to I-70W in lieu of going back out to I-25S down thru Denver to I-70W ??? ok for 4o' class A towing??? thanks

That's the route I always suggest it's called Peak to Peak one beautiful drive. If you are headed back to Denver/Golden you can just stay on Rt 6 along Clear Creek right into Golden -- Another Beautiful Drive -- if going to I-70 you will come out at Idaho Springs.

We lived in EP for 30 years. Have driven 7/72 in our fivers and MH many times. Very scenic and a bit twisty in places but an easy drive. Local traffic not in a hurry to go anywhere fast can be frustrating. Only caution would be to watch your speed on the Central City parkway connecting Central City to I70. Very low speed limits and heavily patrolled.
