Minot ND to Portland OR

I will be pulling a 27' TT with a F250 Diesel. trying to figure the fastest most economical rout from Minot ND to Portland OR. looks like I90 and US2 are about the same mileage but don't know what rout is the fastest and easiest driving. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Plus he would have to deal with Seattle:(. I-84 is the most direct but wind in the Columbia Gorge could be a challenge

Fastest, definitely, would be I90 then 395 down to I84 to Portland. 2 is a good road, but slower, towns to go through (not past!!), maybe more scenic (?). Also, much farther north, so I would think that the mileage would be more by the time you got to Ptld.
