Need Help, Diesel enroute to Yellowstone

Planning our trip to Yellowstone. Plan on going from Kansas City through Nebraska to Cheyenne and north on US 191 from Rock Springs to the southern entrance of Yellowstone. I'm having trouble finding truck stops/gas stations that I can fit my 5th wheel in. Does anyone have any recommendations for diesel fuel stops along US 191? Thanks.

We find ourselves filling up with half a tank of fuel to make it through the next leg where finding diesel is going to be a problem. For 5th-wheels the truck stops are the best choice but many of the Maverik gas stations are large and have good access. For gas stations we try to hit them in mid-morning after the commuters have filled up their vehicles as it is easier to get in and out when the pumps are relatively empty.

If you run into this a lot it may be worth investing in a larger main fuel tank or installing one in the bed of the truck. There are no aftermarket main tanks for my SWB 2011 diesel or I would buy one in a heartbeat simply for the piece of mind.

There are fuel stations in Boulder, Pinedale, Daniel and Hoback Junction that have diesel. However, if you fill up in Rock Springs, where there is a Flying J among others, Jackson is less than 200 miles. In Jackson, there are several fuel stations including a Smith's which if you have a Kroeger Card and any fuel points will likely be the lowest price.
Safe travels!

Pinedale will have a place for you to fuel.
and I think we got fuel at Hoback Junction right on the corner, on the right hand side.

Pinedale is on US 191....103 miles north of Rock Springs. There are several gas stations (and a campground) in Pinedale. Google Pinedale fuel stations, brings them up and then you can see each station and go from there.
Hope this is helpful.

I do the same thing, but there's nothing that I can find on US 191.

Can't help there. We always turn at Rawlins and go up 287.

On that route you have Rawlins, Lander, and Dubois with possible fuel stops. I have never taken the route up 191.

Hope someone with experience can help.
