Travel distance app

Is there an app out there that I can input my desired travel distance per day to find places to stay? I haven't found it in RV Parky.

My example is, I leave Roswell and want to stop in 350 miles, headed to Florida. I would like the app to default to my desired travel range for places to stay, without having to guess where that would be.

I have been trying to use Furkot to replace Street Atlas. Street Atlas did everything you want and more (like suggest fuel stops). But, Alas, SA and S&T are gone.

Trick with Furkot is learning to use it. The instructions take a lot of reading, and things like you have to make a stop into a fuel stop by changing the icon for it to track your fuel. It also does not like to ONP you at Camp Wally or other - easily. You can change the stop to a friend's house and that works. But you still can't use it as an underway navigator with a GPS as you could with the old ones.

I really miss that feature.

Now, if I could shut off the "off track" alarm on my old SA.....

I put in 85% as My speed and it was fairly accurate as I usually set my cruise control at 58 mph

my trailer life route planner will do that.

I think RV Trip Wizard might do it, but I've never been willing to spend the $35/year on it.

I personally use RVParky.com's trip planner (the website from a computer but not a phone or tablet). It's still guess and check but it is pretty quick to bite-sized chunks for stops.

My method is to use a route planner (your choice: Google, BaseCamp, various other PC or pad/phone based apps).
1) Give it your starting point and ultimate destination. Change the routing as desired to go through or avoid places along the overall route.
2) Then go to the detailed turn-by-turn directions.
3) Choose your preferred miles per day (for instance, 300 miles)
4) Look at RV parks around the steps in the detailed directions. These directions usually give the mileage for each leg in addition to the cumulative mileage from you origination point. Therefore, in this case look at around 300, 600, 900 etc. cumulative miles. Use an RV park search app such as RV Parky, RV Park Reviews, ParkAdvisor, etc. around the 300-mile mileage intervals.

I used the GPS to estimate where we would stop along our route, decide which side of the city or whatever area (based on traffic, features, or other) and then put that into RV Parky and adjust our travel time up or down to get to the place we want to stay.

Certainly not a perfect system and not driver-friendly (stop and spend some time on it), but it worked.

you might look at furkot.com

you can put in how long you want to travel each day and at the end of the time it recommends lodging. It is free and I used it last year on a trip through colorado
