Tulsa traffic still fouled up?

The last time I went through Tulsa headed for Colorado from Arkansas was a couple of years back, and the construction had things so fouled up I swore I wouldn't do it again until the construction was complete. And I've been true to my word. I've been adding 50 miles a trip and just going to OK City and cutting north on I-35.

So ...
for those in the know. Is Tulsa turnpike traffic still fouled up?

In the past I've taken the Muskogee Turnpike to US64 and US412 to I-35 just above Perry. Can I do that again, or is it still the land of the orange traffic cones and confusing detours?

Thanks for all the input, folks. Like I said, the last two times I went through there it was chaos. I've avoided it the last few years and just added 50 miles to the trip to go via OK City.

Sounds like Tulsa will work for me again.

412 is OK through Tulsa but I can tell you that the road is rough around Keystone Lake.

I make frequent trips to Tulsa; was there last Tuedsay. I-44 is ok now - all finished. There is construction on I-244.

That is the plan. I've been through there several times on a motorcycle, and I was quickly able to get where I needed to be -- not so much with this 30'-long truck I'll be driving next time.

If you plan on taking the Broken Arrow expressway to downtown and pick up 412 there you will not have any issues. Right now they have I-244 torn up almost all the way through town.

My Son just called from Tulsa. He's been there since last Saturday. Said he's getting out because of rain and flooding.
