This last 2012/2013 Snowbird season we stayed mainly in the desert areas of the three States of Arizona, Nevada and California. We have grown very fond of the desert now and love the isolation, peace and beauty it offers. Looking through my archive of photos I have picked out the 10 Favorite Photographs from our South West Desert Travels this past year.

Great pics! This shows how RVers are taking advantage/excuse of winter to explore this great country, while others are sitting home on the couch wasting away. We are blessed!

Awesome pictures .... especially the picture of Hoover Dam from the new bridge. Did a similar trip 10 years ago in a Class C and we were able to drive across the Hoover Dam.

Thanks for sharing

You can still drive across, we drove down and crossed over to the Arizona side and parked there. It sure is a spectacular structure, hard to believe how fast they built it back then.

Great pictures & great dog.

We have always loved the desert. Spent 40 years in CA camping in the desert. Very quiet & peaceful.
