Autumn on the Tellico - Video

The Tellico River is located in eastern Tennessee near the town of Tellico Plains. I spent 2 days exploring the headwaters and taking in the beautiful scenery. This part of the river is in the Cherokee National Forest which is operated by the US Forest Service. I visited there during the government shut-down but the area was still open for use.

It is, indeed, an awesome area. We only live about 25 miles from there (Sweetwater, just off I-75). In fact, you probably went through Sweetwater on the way to Tellico as you exited I-75.

Beautiful area, spent a lot of time there when I was growing up. A truly beautiful and unspoiled area that not a lot of people know about. The video was great, thanks!

Thanks for posting.

I visit often since I grew up there. My older brother had a house on the river in those days. Brought back good memories.
