I have a sister who lives in Orange Beach, AL. I'd like to drag my trailer down there for a week or so. Does anyone have any information on boondocking in the area?

Thanks.

Last time we were in Gulf Shores about 2 years ago, even Wal Mart did not allow overnight parking.

We have been camping in this area since....forever. To my knowledge there is no boondocking. Plenty of CG's.

^^^THIS^^^ its an area with lots of campgrounds and spaces, and lots of tourists. They don't want people hanging out for free.

โ€œCan I park along the side of the road with my RV, fth wheel or pop-up camper to camp? No. The National Forests in Alabama do not have dispersed camping areas.โ€ See https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5195340.pdf

Thatโ€™s what I remembered regarding national forests in AL.
