Gotta agree with Murphsmom. Grayland SP is our go-to when we need a saltwater fix. Like 9 days next month. 30 amp service is all they offer for the new water-side sites, but the view is worth it. We maintain a list of our preferred sites. Ditto on the One-Eyed Crab, too. We've eaten there waaay too many times.

Kennanna RV Park in Grayland is a very nice park. Stayed there several times and always enjoyed it and very clean.

Bayshore RV Park in Tokeland is a nice smaller park. It is right on the beach vs behind the dunes like Grayland state park. I've been told the new Sand Verbena restaurant is good, but I have not been there.

Grayland Beach SP is my favorite but American Sunset is a nice private RV park within a short walk to downtown Westport.

X3 on Grayland.

I read somewhere that the One Eyed Crab restaurant in Westport had closed. If that was wrong, don't miss their seafood chowder.

We stayed at Twin Harbors which we enjoyed. I worked off some calories walking over the dunes to the beach which is spectacular and it is closer than Grayland (which is beautiful). I can see where the latter could have flooding issues though.
Two issues at Twin Harbors. There is one service post to serve two sites which would be alright if adjoining units faced in opposite directions. As it was I had to hug the post so my extension cord would reach from the opposite side of the trailer. The other problem was the sewer dump. Some rocket scientist put a 90 degree elbow on the pipe instead of a cap. :S I had to block my slinky up and slide it in horizontally then block it to keep it in place, the coupling threads did not match the elbow. Not very bright. We do want to go back though.
While in Westport go to the sea food market on pier 8, the prawns are so fresh they should be slapped.:B

Grayland SP is great, but some sites are closed during heavy rains due to flooding.

Good advice from n7bsn above.
We really like Grayland State Park and camp there at least 2 times a year.

This is about the only one of any quality.
American Sunset
Grayland State park could be tight in some of the sites. Hook ups previously were marginal.
Twin Harbors State Park is tired.

We've stayed at Grayland SP and Twin Harbors, really prefer Grayland.
American Sunset Campground looks to be the best commercial in the area

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.
