From out visit last September:

Indian Point - Corps of Engineers - has 48 spots with 50 or 30 amp power and water. Dump station on the CG. Located right by Silver Dollar City. The campground has an older and a newer section. Plenty of shade. No real lakeside sites. The shore is too steep for easy water access. Some lake view sites. $21 per day - $10.50 with Senior Pass

Old Highway 86 - Corps of Engineers - is on the south side of the lake on a finger point. Low and all sites have great lake views - most with just walk out your RV door and into the water to swim, or keep your boat a few feet from the RV. Same prices.

Table Rock State Park - by the dam - has 41 FHU sites for $28.

Check out this url (http://mostateparks.com/campgrounds/table-rock-state-park) for the Missouri State parks. My wife and I stayed there a few years back with our TT. Stayed in Camp Ground 1 right off of the water. Very quiet, clean and plenty of room for 5 er's, Class A's etc.

You can book reservation on line or call. It has very good to perfect access to all of the Branson stuff as well.

Whatever you do go see this show โ€œSIX,โ€ Mickey Gilly Theater: The six Knudsen brothers take Capella music to a whole new level, singing in familial harmony, beat-boxing and creating all manner of sound effects with no instruments other than their mouths. They were outstanding, music was from the 50's and 60's. You will be dancing in your seats!!

Also grab your Trout rod and hit Taneycomo, just below Tablerock dam.
Catch ya later!

DW and I went to Branson last September and had a great time. We stayed at Branson Ozark Campground and highly recommend it. It was quiet, very clean, and the owners were very helpful. It is a Passport America park so it cost us only $20.00 a night. It only took us a few minutes to get to the shows. We did glance at several of the campgrounds that we passed by and it seemed like you could hardly go wrong at any of them. Also our GPS took us to the wrong campground. If you go to Branson Ozark Campground, put in the address and not the park name. It is not their fault, but the mapping software that Garmin uses.

Have a great time and don't worry about posting in the wrong forum.

Missouri State Parks are nice. You can go to the state parks web site, find the campsite you are interested in and pull up a photo of the site with a full description. Most are electric only.

10 demerits for posting in FTS. Why don't you saunter on over to the campgrounds forum and look for Branson?
