Camping on the beach

A couple of us are looking to camp in our travel trailers on the beach in either the Golfshores Alabama area or Mississippi the first or second week of August.

Questions I have is it to late to make reservations for that area?

second question

what are your recommendations for a campground with full hookups on the beach or very very close to the beach like within walking distance in either Golfshores Alabama or somewhere along the Mississippi coast?

If you really want to camp on the beach got to Port Aransas, Tx or Padre Island, TX.
Why would want to camp on the beach without hookups and get all that salt air on your RV?
There are Campgrounds in MS that are close to the beach and there is a campground in Destin, Fl that has full hookups and is on the beach.

Although the entire campground is away from the beach there are a few sites along the canal that are just a 5 minute walk.

The Mississippi gulf coast is much different from the beaches east of Mobile bay. There you have mostly brown sand and gravel and the water is usually calm. You really don't see the crowds on Mississippi beaches except in the casinos.

Double ditto. As for whether or not it's too late, give them a call and ask about the specific dates.
