Any nice campgrounds near the Cleveland OH area that are on the lake or close. Closest thing I can find is Cleveland South/Streetsboro KOA. Anybody been there. From the website and reviews it appears to be ok. I was hoping for something closer to the water though

Nothing in CLE for camping. Hotels only.

The Cleveland Clinic used to have about 10-12 RV sites with water and electricity (30A) and a dump station right across the street from the main entrance. The receptionist should be able to direct you. Believe it was 1st come 1st served Been a few years, though.

My wife has some meetings in the area so we are kind of limited to the area. What about Punderson State Park. Likes, dislikes?

50 miles to the west in Sandusky, Ohio are campgrounds on the lake...

We live in the area and we've stayed at the Streetsboro KOA. It's pretty nice. It is nowhere near Lake Erie, though. It is closer to Akron than it is to Cleveland.
