Flight 93 Memorial - Strongly Recommend

On a trip this summer, we made an overnight stop near Shanksville, PA so that we could visit the Flight 93 Memorial.





I strongly recommend a visit. They park service did an excellent job. Even our 9 year old was very interested in the signs and audio tour. Just wish we hadn't gotten there so late.

Just returned from PEARL thursday, Visited the ARIZONA MEMORIAL and the Big MO. Both were well worth the trip, especially the AZ Memorial. Even though it was our second trip there some 25 years ago, still invoked many sombering thoughts.

If only we had taken more notice of the heroic actions of those on board that flight. They showed that the ability to use airliners filled with passengers as missiles ended the same day it started. Alas some folks didn't understand that and we are saddled with the TSA and much more.

I will forever admire the actions of those passengers on Flight 93.

Yes, the NPS did an excellent job.
It is well worth the time to stop and, it's not too far off the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
