Food Trip: Dogs and Doughnuts

On our way down to SC we decided to see if there are some great food places in GA that can jump start my own creativity. We found them. Warning: if you have to lose weight stop right here and right now. I don't want to be blamed for your failure to avoid temptation.

Dazzle Dogs in Buford, GA. My take - Coneys on Steroids. These are great.

Dutch Monkey Doughnuts These puppies are made from scratch. Flavors are beyond anything KK or DD can come up with. One box is not enough. I'm going to have to learn how to make doughnuts. Period. Either that or set up camp outside this shop.

I’ll go a pretty good ways out of my way not to go to KK or DD. IMO they’re only good if that’s your only choice.

My favorite donuts are Tim Hortons' Timbits:

Donut holes in every flavor of donut. The perfect ratio of donut to jelly. The perfect size to pop in your mouth as you drive down the road.
