I am going to be in the Fredericksburg, TX area for a month or so next Jan. and Feb. I am looking for one or two nice RV parks to stay in while looking at property in the Hill Country. Anyone have any suggestions?

We stayed at the Lady Bird Johnson RV park also, and we enjoyed it there. The front desk was very very nice, the sites were decent, and we enjoyed staying next to the airport. The kids really enjoyed sitting and watching the planes coming and going. It was a nice and relaxing time. It was a short 5 minutes into town and there is a nice HEB grocery just a couple minutes away. We would stay there again when we go through there.

We stayed here last Dec and was a good park.LadyBird Park is owned by the city and is further out .We didnt like it because the spaces are really close ,just too close to your nieghbor for us.

This is one of the few places where we always stay at the KOA--out east of town at the Luckenback turn-off. So you can add this to good possibilities.

If you want another option than Fredericksburg, we like Buckhorn Lake Resort in Kerrville. About 24 miles from Fredericksburg. We stayed at the KOA in Fredericksburg and I believe they have monthly rates with metered electric. Nice shady area in back. Very quiet. Nice management.

Fredericksburg RV Park is nice and right in town, so very convenient to everything.
KOA also gets very good reviews but is about 3 miles east on US 290.
