getting around in Quartzite?

We stopped by Quartzite this fall (empty, of course) but at some point
we will visit it when it is full on zooland. Our camping would be north of the town in BLM. What are options for getting around as we can only imagine the congestion? Are there any shuttles (or should we run one?)? Bicycle might be more than we want to deal with given
there isn't a bike lane and he traffic. We do not have a toad but
are contemplating it.

We would be traveling in a 24 foot class c.

We were there on Wednesday and Thursday too. We went to the big tent and the outside vendors at exactly the same time frames as quoted above. No delays or traffic to speak of. Didn't have to wait in line to look or purchase from the vendors either. Things were busy, but still easy enough to get around.

Yeh, it runs north for a 1/4 mile and then turns around and runs south for a 1/4 mile.

We've always stayed at Scadden Wash area east of Hwy 95 and just south of the interstate. For the big tent area we park our car very early morning - 8am or so - on a side street off Hwy 95 and park so we're heading east. Then when it's time to leave you don't have to get back on Hwy 95 - the zoo. I wouldn't ride a bike through that mess and you might not have a bike if you park it and go shopping!

The city bus run every 20 mins. north to south. Same East to west.

Spend a half day at Target Mall, but paid cash, you know. Stop at the cafe for a bowl of Coyete soup with little bit of meat in it.It has the same flavor as last weeks white puppy.

our rv is 25ft and we drove from place to place ,great having rv you can park and walk from. when our day is over we just drive back to our spot in the blm land. leave a marker so your space is not taken, a old lawn chair with a note works.

Use the backroads.

We would spend the day at one of the several venues (Main Event, Tyson Wells, Rice Ranch, Big Red Tent...etc.) around town, then go to a different venue the next day or hit another venue on the way back to the campsite. Start early in the morning (8 to 9am) and end right after lunch before the day trippers began to leave.

Hi.... we're in Q right now and it's nutso for traffic. One thing we've done to get around better is to drive and learn the back streets. You do not need to drive the main roads. From the north, if you turn east at the fire station and follow that road out and then south, you'll come out on the east end of Main street ....where the 2 grocery stores are located. If you take a right on Quail Run off of Hwy 95 you'll find the same kind of "shortcut" going around to the west end of town. As for what to drive/ride.......many people have quads and run around town in those. But they have to be street legal. Bicycles are used....but myself, I can't imagine riding it along the highway to get into town.
There is a shuttle this year for the first time......but I haven't heard how well it's working. They are running it from the BLM camping on the south end of town.....called LaPosa South.

Other people have parked their RV in LaPosa West and LaPosa North....then they drive up to the closest upper corner next to hwy 95 they can get and park. They then walk over to the tent.... not a bad walk and is actually shorter than parking in other areas of town.
