South of Yreka and just north of Weed on I-5 is another rest stop. The Randolph E. Collier Rest Area referred to above is north of Yreka.

There're also a couple RV parks and big store parking lots in Weed.

Yreka has a Wal Mart. It's been awhile but the last time I was there they allowed overnight camping. I would give them a call.

Yup, many of our CA parks only like shorties. Heck, I'm only 22 feet and over Castle Craig SP's limit...TT's 21.
