Hello all. First trip to Disney but we’re only going 1 day. The other days are hopefully a day on gulf coast and day in Atlantic side. Then a day of rest. Trip is March 23- 29. Son in marching nband and they are going to Disney. Whole point is watch them march. Anyways I’ve tried three places to stay. Wilderness, great oak and mill creek. No openings. Anyone have a spot they like that’s likely to be open? Any help would shorten my search. Thanks!

I'll add on to Tropical Palms. Wife and I have stayed there before and its a great little park. Nice short walk to Oldtown (or whatever its called) with good food and fun stores. Easy commute to Disney as well.

Good luck, I was a drummer in high school and we went to Disney 3 of 4 years around Christmas to march at Disney and play at a college bowl game. Great times!

That's a tough time of year. It's still snowbird season and you are dealing with Spring Break.

Tropical Palms would be our first alternative to Disney's Fort Wilderness.

Wish I could help you.

I bet you will plan a return trip for a full week, after you get the one day "taste" of the place.

Turf Valley is a nice local place. If you liked it during November you'd really love it during the summer months.

My best advice is to spend the entire time at Fort Wilderness.
I did the Marching Band trip a few years ago it was fantastic!

KOA in Davenport. I'd spend all of the time at Disney.
