We stayed there before it was a KOA, and while we liked the campground, we did not like being so far from Laughlin. We now only stay at the Riverside. Wish we going.

If your need is full hook-ups AVI is less convenient to the action than Riverside, and a lot smaller, but adjacent to a nice casino. Virtually all the casinos allow dry camping, and Riverside provides a free shuttle to its casino (across the street from the park), and on the main drag (where all the casinos are (except AVI).
You could go across the river from Avi to Moon River RV on Boundary Cone Road, 1/4 mi. west of az. 95. Only 3.5 mi. to Avi on the river road. All gravel with eucalyptus trees.
We stayed there many times and when we are in the area will stay again. Was there when it was just the casino RV park. It is exactly the same only the casino got a KOA frabchise. Same people everything. Never couls figure why they are paying KOA. Anyway we like it.
It's a KOA. There are reviews on www.rvparkreviews.com Also check www.casinocamper.com there is a review from 2012. Reviews all look good. Photos on www.koa.com look good too.
