We are looking for a campground for October 23-26th 2014 as close to the Kay Bailey Hutchison convention center in Dallas Texas... that is clean, safe, and we could drive to the convention center... Second question is there parking around the convention center and ball park of what parking would cost a day

Convention center area parking

Convention center is the largest blue shaded area near the bottom of the map.

Tree Tops in Arlington would be the best choice for this purpose. You would just have to plan your trips to the convention center around traffic times.

The park in Sunnyvale is just a cramped place to park trailers. No room at all.

The trip to Lewisville and Grapevine would have a lot of traffic all day long.

To the North, up IH-35E, 28 miles, in Lewisville, is Lewisville Lake Park. The nightly rate is $16, full hook up. For Seniors it is $8. It is on Lake Lewisville, shady, spacious, clean, neat & friendly. It has 30 amp & 50 amp, plus a dump station. It is owned by the city of Lewisville. From IH-35E, exit at highway 407 & go East for about 2 miles. It is on your left. Enjoy!

unfortunately not much in the immediate vicinity. 2 options: 15 miles east at Sunnyvale is Plantation Place RV Park. Not fancy but ok.
20 miles west is Treetop Village RV Park in Arlington. Nice Park.
22 miles north of the airport is The Vineyards on Grapevine Lake. Very nice park.
