Looking For Temporary Places to Park While On The Road

My husband and I are planning a longer road trip this year and will be leaving the mountains of east TN in a couple of weeks. We will be traveling down to Chattanooga, into GA, AL, MS, LA, TX and then back on 10 to Florida.

I joined Boondockers welcome but I am wondering if any of you know of or could put up a class B rv for the night or 2? Would pay for any electric or water usage.

Thanks

We have been using The Ultimate Public Campground Project for a couple of years. Along with all the traditional types of campgrounds (federal, state and local), it has a great many boondocking spots.

Absolutely no problem 'wandering off I-10'. Many people actually choose to live off I-10. ๐Ÿ™‚ ... in some beautiful places.

I agree I have some favorite spots on the beaches but a lot of people do not take time to wander. Their idea of seeing America is what can be seen from the Interstate at 80 miles per hour

Have you checked the boondockers website for locations in the area you are travelling? With a Class B you should have lots of possibilities and most hosts do not expect to be paid, but I am sure would appreciate a token gift. We always leave something with our hosts.
