We recently returned from our trip which took us to many states and campgrounds. Here are the ones we stayed at and some comments.
1. Renfro Valley KY KOA - nice cg
2. Toledo East/Stony Ridge OH KOA - out of the way when traveling on Interstate
3. Port Huron MI KOA - nice cg but busy during summer
4. Chicago Northwest IL KOA - nice cg
5. Rochester/Marion MN KOA - nice cg
6. Kennebec SD KOA - used to be well managed sort of run down now. Needs lots of TLC
7. Peter D's RV Park WY - nice cg
8. Issaquah Village WA RV Park - avoid this cg at all costs. It is an old cg with sites being very small. We had to walk on our neighbor's site just to set up. Management knows nothing about managing a cg and doesn't seem to care about its campers.
9. Crescent City/Redwoods WA KOA - a great place to camp. Lots of redwoods in cg
10. Travis AFB CA FamCamp - military only - nice cg but doesn't seem to be well managed
11. Lake Isabella/Kern River CA KOA - skip it - river is about 10 miles away - no grass in site
12. Needles CA KOA - nice cg but again no grass
13. Davis-Monthan AFB AZ FamCamp - military only - nice cg that is well managed
14. Alamogordo/White Sands NM KOA - nice cg, lots of seasonals/permanent campers - nice lady in office
15. Van Horn TX KOA - nice cg but no shade
16. Shreveport/Bossier City LA Koa - new to KOA nice cg some shade
17. Ameristar Casino, Hotel & RV Park Vicksburg MS - nice cg but no shade
18. Lakeside Landing RV Park Cropwell Al - nice cg but busy with boat traffic on adjacent lake
19. Anderson/Lake Hartwell SC KOA - lots of shade, nice office staff
