Any suggestions for nice campground for overnight on west side of st. Louis? Thinking about the Koa near Allenton. Anyone have comments or suggestions? Thanks Tara ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree with sdianel, the KOA is your best choice for an overnight stay. It's easy off and easy on I-44.

we have stayed at the KOA in Eureka (Allenton) and it was just fine. The reviews are above average with the exception of bathrooms needed cleaning.

My buddy was just there at St Peters, they had a storm come thru this weekend that upset a couple of fifth wheels. Firemen had to break the rear window in one to get the the people out.

Here is one on the NW side of St. Louis, Lakeside Park, we stayed there overnight, it was OK. It's either a State or City Park. It gets good reviews.

Don't see where to add as a link/clicky, thought there used to be one.

If you can't find a suitable CG, consider overnighting at a casino.
