port aransas

we are planning a trip from east tn. to port Aransas in the next couple weeks, any suggestions/warnings about rv parks there? we
re thinking about fishing and bike riding. have a couple picked out on the good sam site, just looking for feedback. thanks everyone.

We stayed at Pioneer RV Park but they are a little ways out of town. The RV park is nice and it is on the ocean.

We stayed at the county park in Port-A and liked it. It is almost on the beach (behind a sand dune). It right by the jetty for good fishing. We are currently staying nearby in Rockport, TX.
