Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

Site 441 Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, GA. Water/Electric/Pull Through

This was the most unlevel site I've ever had, but my wheel leveler did great. View of the water and a view of the backside of Stone Mountain.

I haven't posted pics here before, so here goes.

This was Feb. 2008 Bay St Louis Mississippi
The Silver Slipper Casino Campground. It's new and not many sites, but we enjoyed it. The area is working hard at building back after Katrina.

Echo Lodge sure looks great when your passing by on the highway or camping out at Buckskin State Park. So, we journeyed over from Buckskin to check it out. After a week of the beach camping we found the washrooms run down and never cleaned the week we were there. The water smells bad. They also have steel tire shredders imbedded in the road at 2 locations so if you happen to go the wrong direction in the campground you will pay dearly. Never have seen that in a campground before also the laundry is a long way from the beach sites, you will have to drive. Poor directional signs around the sites. Speed bumps? How about 11, a huge unnecessary annoyance. Will we go back? NO Wife says 'maybe' she liked being right on the beach,

During the spring of 2006 I took a three month "sabbatical" road trip to the west coast, and one of the most peaceful campgrounds that I ran across was the St. George Resort in Harrisburg, Utah.....,

Having a rear living room has it's advantages as well during the early evening hours at the same campground..............,

Come to think of it, I'm ready for another sabbatical :B
