We like Kamp Klamath, but it is not for everyone. Great location for Prairie Creek. Great whalewatching right nearby. Away from the highway. Great BBQ every Sat. night with really great live music.
But the facilities are very limited -- the bathrooms are not good due to regulatory hassles between the owner (a great guy) and the govt. If you are ok using the facilities in your own rig (including showering), this is a very good RV park. FHU, of course. Nice landscaping.
We have been back several times, and DW is a fanatic about the redwoods. Which are almost 800 miles from our home. A long, dull drive. But these are special trees.
