Circle T Park in Mission has a first timer special. $675. For 6 months and Canadian dollars on par. Nice pool and hot tub, friendly folks and lots of activities. Sites are kind of close.

Good point abut Eastgate. Many parks have "First Timer" discounts and incentives. Alamo Rec has three months for $595 as another example.

Eastgate RV and Mobile Home Park Harlingen TX Progresso is 25 miles away.
First time here? Then the rent is 4, 5 or 6 months $875
Yep you read it right. Might want to Google Earth it. Wi-fi and cable channels aren't worth **** but you can get your own from Spectrum.
I'm here now, they have a pool and a couple of hot tubs.

I've been to all 50 States but my RV hasn't.

At least the OP got a couple of answers that met his criteria. Alamo Rec-Veh in Alamo is a $250-$400/month park with indoor pool and hot tub. Twenty five minutes to Progreso. RC car tracks, drones, RC boating, Air Rifle range, all the usual stuff. Lots of others in the Alamo/Weslaco area.

I find Google earth to be a great help. When you find what you think you want, use Google earth at street level to "walk" around the park. It will give you a good feel for the area prior to showing up. Nice not to have too many surprises if you're planning on staying longer then a week or two.

Golden Grove just west of Mission
Is $300.00 A month plus electricity. Larger lots, lots of trees in a citrus Grove with free fruit. Well kept but no pool or hot tub. Near state park, world birding center and paved bicycle trails. Not many activities. It is a good value.

I live in Mission in the winter in an RV park, but I really couldn't tell you what spaces rent for in the valley. We own our lot. I have been told the park next to us rents for $2400 for the year, plus water and electric. Best advice is to come on down, rent for a week or so in a park and then scout around for one that fits your pocketbook.
