Gonna spend a week or so in Bend Oregon this summer. I need a family friendly RV park that can accommodate a 36' fifth wheel.

Thanks

We've stayed here http://www.bendsistersgardenrv.com/index.htmla couple times. A little spendy but it's very well kept up and has a nice pool. 20 mins form Bend. Easy drive in. If you're spending all your time in Bend during the day, then Tumalo St Park may be better. But for relaxing and going to Bend a couple times then it wouldn't be bad at all. Sisters is a few mins away and has some nice places to eat also.

If you don't mind a short drive, the Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in Redmond is an excellent place to stay. It was a bit less expensive than some of the options in Bend, itself, and the sites are large. If the fairgrounds isn't having a big event while you're there, it is pretty empty.

Like Tumalo much better than Lapine, more scenic but Lapine is good too, both have hookups and site big enough. Best get a reservation as soon as you can. Site lenght is one the Oregon State Parks site.

We've stayed at both Tumalo and Crown Villa. Tumalo is next to the river, lots of trees and mostly dirt with sites fairly close to each other, lots of kids and dogs, noisy, but with reasonable costs. Crown Villa is exactly the opposite. Large open grass areas, concrete pads, very quiet and very expensive. We stayed there in a 26' TT.

That said, Crown Villa is probably one of the top three resorts we have stayed at and wouldn't hesitate to go back. We stay here in our MH.

My thoughts are that if you're going to spend a week there, I would head over to Sisters and stay there. Much cooler and less people. The Bend/Sisters Garden RV Park is a nice place to stay that has recently been refurbished.

Tumalo State park is only 5 miles west of town. Lapine state park is about 25 miles SW.

Here is a list with Reviews... LINK.. We have stayed at Crown Villa..
Very "upscale," but expensive.

Normally when we are going to the Bend area we stay at Tumalo State Park.
