Would not go there again or recommend it to anyone, friend or foe.
That info is spot on! I worked in SF as a Firefighter and the area around Candlestick RV Park is the ghetto. If you like hearing gunfire that's the place to stay!

We are currently staying at Marin RV Park in Greenbrea, CA. We have a 45' Motorhome and are pulling a Jeep Liberty. They gave me and several other camper two spots to park, and only charge you for one. Today we walked to the SF ferry and spent the day in San Francisco. They have free WiFi and cable TV. We can also see San Quentin Prison from the campground. We'll be leaving here Saturday heading to Sonoma CA.
As I write this I'm also at Marin Park RV. We've stayed at 4 other parks over the years, many of which were previously mentioned. This park is by far the best. By timing the drive between commuter hours, we had comparatively little traffic over the Golden Gate last Thurs. to Fisherman's Wharf. (Did a Duck ride which I highly recommend.). Tomorrow we'll walk over to the ferry and ride it across the bay. We also were given 2 sites. With slides on both sides of the coach and a dinghy, it would not have worked otherwise. Trader Joe's within easy walking distance. Cheesecake Factory & Boudin's a longer walk but very easy drive. As is Safeway. Had a delicious meal at Jason's Friday night. Could have walked it, but drove it. Were going to walk to Marin Brewing Co. for dinner tonight, but it's raining. Location, Location, Location!
