We are heading to the Tampa Rv show, Jan 18-20. Looking for suggestions for a rv site within 20 miles of Tampa. Max price of $35 per night for 36 ft 5th wheel. Doesnt have to be fancy just clean, spending all our time at the show. Thanks in advance.

Why don't you stay at the Show. They offer a rally package that includes camping (dry), admission to show, coffee/donuts/newspaper in the a.m.,
entertainment in the evening. We did this 2x and found it to be very convenient and fun to be with others shopping at the show. Staying on the grounds means no driving and getting in traffic jams to enter the show parking area or lining up for admission tickets. Works very well.

Check the Tampa Show website for full details.

We have stayed a few times at Camp Lemora (not sure on spelling). FHU on Dead River Road Thonotosassa, FL. US 41 about 20 minutes from the show.

Fort Desoto park would be my choice in the Tampa area, if you can get a site that is. Hillsborough River State Park is another good spot. Just remember that this is snowbird season and commercial parks increase their prices, state parks are usually full.
