I know of Knoebels and Frontier Town and Fort Wilderness. What are some other campgrounds with on-site theme parks or water parks?

We're big fans of Holiday World Amusement Park in Santa Claus, IN. Lake Rudolph Campground is a huge campground that is right next to the park, and has all the amenities you need, including non-stop shuttle service fom the campground to the park.

Small water park at Yogi on the River in Gardiner, NY. It's a really large rv park, nice setting in the Catskills. Would highly recommend this park.

The Jellystone Parks usually have activities for the kids. Waterpark type attractions and hayrides if nothing else.

Six Flags, Darien Lake NY. Walk to park from campground. We have been there numerous times when the kids were little. Very convenient.

These 3 don't have "theme parks" but I would consider similar or better than Frontier Town, IMO

Cedar Point Amusement Park near Sandusky, Ohio.

And there are a couple campgrounds right at Indiana Beach near Monticello, IN.

Lake Compounce, as was mentioned already.

There are at least one or two campgrounds in Lake George that offer shuttle service to the Great Escape.

Many Six Flags parks (that I'm aware of) do not have associated campgrounds, and I don't think many if any Great Wolf lodges do either; in fact, I think the latter usually require that you stay in the associated hotel to use the water park. I may be mistaken, though.

I know you mentioned it, but I personally think it's hard to be Knoebels.

King's Dominion just north of Richmond, Va. A Six Flags sort of park (not part of that group) with a full service CG right next store. Exit 98 off I 95. Could also include a visit to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown on your visit. Lots of fun and history to enjoy.
