What Should a RV Rental Lot Include?

When you're a Snowbird or Winter Texan and using an RV there are some ordinary things you would expect; things like water, sewer, electric easily come to mind. What other things should be a consideration? Should the lot have a storage shed, maybe a gas grill, an awning? I'm sure everyone will have an opinion.

Here's an intangible one that can't be advertised till you show up and see for yourself ... liked minded neighbors. Like they say "birds of a feather, flock together."

The park we're currently calling our winter digs is also one of the worst parks we've ever stayed at. No laundry, no wifi, no pool, no hot tub, sandburs everywhere, clean but run down bathrooms, etc... To top it all off we're also paying 100-200 dollars more then other parks just 5 miles away. Why, well because of the location and those that are in the park and enjoy this location as much as we do.

Laundry facilities (clean and in working order), Clubhouse for the social functions (potlucks, games, superbowl party, etc.), book exchanges are nice, some type of mail service, a group campfire area, cable-tv and good wifi, reasonable rates for monthly rent and metered electricity. These are the things that drew us to our winter home for the last 3 years!

you get what you get. a storage shed, gas grill???? get real.

this is why it is important that you ask before you get the site.

Ours has a concrete pad (big enough to park 2 coaches), 50A service, Water and sewer, a shed with washer and toilet facility and storage shelves. Great setup for sure. We provide our own small fridge in the shed and have our own grill and patio chairs.

Hey, I saw a Class A only resort near West Palm Beach that had this. Can't remember the name but it was on one of those lifestyles of the rich and famous shows.

A fully stocked onsite bar that serves drinks with those little umbrellas is the first thing that comes to mind.
