Where to stay in near Palm Desert, CA?

My daughter bought a vacation home in Palm Desert about 140 miles away from us. Almost too far for a one day trip up and back. Anyone know of a good CG or casino to stay at just for an overnighter? Hate to spend $$$$ to pull in late at night and leave early in the am, but will do what we have to do to visit for a weekend. There is parking on her property in her driveway for 48 hours limit, but we aren't allowed to sleep in it and would have to run the generator for the A/C. Putting the slides out would be a dead giveaway of that and the genny.

We will probably visit our daughter during the day and go to on of the casinos for the night and return to my daughters house the next day. During fall and winter when it's cooler, we may try sleeping in the MH and put out the bedroom slide hidden from the street by a wall and plants. No Benny's use or A/C needed.
Thanks

I really like Lake Cahuilla Rec area. Not too much farther away. Equestrian area (dirt) for lots of room, or regular CG, and power for a/c. Central water, dump station. Quiet except when cops are at the gun range.

Of the two casinos, I find the 29 much noisier due to its proximity to the I-10. Fantasy is my preferred place. As for the generators, don't know. Only go in winter.

+2 Lake Cahuilla is a nice place to stay

We usually spend one night at Spot Light Casino on our way to Arizona and on our way back home. They have a separate area for Trucks and RV'S. We run our generator and have our slides out. It's a lit up parking lot with security driving by ever so often. I have talked to people that have stayed there longer. For one thing it's not crowded, LOL.

Was going to see if there is a 30 amp on the panel already and the location of the panel to the driveway. I can partially hide the MH and the bedroom slide out from street view. Would be great if we could plug in, run the air and sleep in it in their driveway.

Pay to have 30A plug put in at her house for the AC. I would not worry about you staying in it if it is just for the weekend every so often. I did just this at my daughters house and never had a problem. She lives in a HOA neighborhood and same rules. Just be friendly with the neighbors.

We've stayed at Spotlight Casino for the night as well. It's a very large lot with semi's in one area and RV's in another closer to the casino entrance. No problem with slides, plenty of room. Generators should not be a problem but if loud I'd park away from others to be nice. Semi's have theirs running but too far to hear from most RV's.

Fantasy Springs has ample RV parking but is a further walk to the casino and not as well lit.

I've stayed at Spotlight 29 several times. Fantasy Springs, nearby on the other side of the highway, is good too but doesn't seem to have as much room. Never stayed there, though.

I have only been there in the winter months. I and other use on board generators as needed. Others use portables. I would think all night would be OK. Slides are out.
