Winter in Arizona - Tuscon to Phoenix corridor

We'd like to try a winter in Arizona this year. Can anyone suggest a RV site between Phoenix and Tuscon that is on the upscale end of the spectrum? (I'd rather pay more for more amenities and then do some scouting on my own when we're there.)
Now I know this won't be Florida or south Texas weather, but can I expect to have to drain the water at some point?
We're hoping to leave mid-November and return to Canada in April.

Many thanks!

Friends, I want to thank all of you who responded to my post. I sincerely appreciate the obvious time, thought and effort that you folks put into your responses.

Now I don't know if this ever happens to you but the tail has just wagged the dog and we're having to postpone our trip to Arizona until the fall of 2015! (The good news is that we'll be able to arrive in September. We'll start planning now to include all those National Parks that might have been tricky in December.) I've copied all your responses into next year's trip file.

I'm telling you this so that if you see a post seeking RV parks in Florida you won't think my mental map of the USA is severely skewed.

Best wishes to all y'all!
Ian

I knew that but he didn't know enough to tell a good story. Been there since 2002 each winter for 6 months.

Just where do you stay???
Casa Grande just isn't that big of a place not to know every store and restaurant and RV park in an hour!

Palms is just east of Fiesta Grande RV park. Better learn French and they have locks on everything as they are paranoid someone might slip in under the wire and play shuffleboard or something LOL. They are also more money and they are more stacking then most others in the area.

Your comments do not make sense to me and I never heard of Palms.

Tucson will be about 10 degrees cooler than Phoenix. We stayed 5 winters at Canyon Vistas RV Resort in Gold Canyon and loved it. Great location, younger crowd, larger sites than older parks. Will be returning on late 2015 after Yacht Club officer duties are over. Will be there a week this winter on a quick one month swing through SW and to pick a site for the following year.

I drive the highway between Tucson & Phoenix every year on my way into Mexico, and it is not that attractive. Pretty dusty and I have yet to find an Rv park i would want to stay in for more than a night.
