Planning a trip for summer 2017. when should I be calling to book at Fishing Bridge? and since its its close when for Colter Bay?

Yes, I know Grizzly is nice, but It is outside the park. it is 45min to Old Faithful, 1 1/2 hours to Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and even farther depending on what your seeing. Fishing Bridge is centrally loocated. not much more than an hour to anything and you can branch out from there. Grizzly you would be driving at least an hour to see something and you`ll be passing the same thing daily. I`m looking for different views and would like to stay in the Park. we are staying at private campgrounds on the way and at a Jellystone in Estes Park CO. on the way home, so we can "rough it" in Yellowstone. but thanks for the advice I do appreciate all of it!

Visiting Yellowstone NP stay at Grizzly RV Park, your wife, son and daughter will thank you. Colter Bay is a nice campground in the Grand Teton NP. Enjoy.

I reserved for Fishing Bridge in beginning of January 2015 and by mid Jan it was full for our July 2015 dates. I waited for Colter Bay till end of Jan and didn't get the dates I needed.

Thanks Joe. I will stay on top of it. yes I read on the site they need the exact length of both. 35foot trailer 20 foot truck. does anyone know if you can request a particular site? I`m liking the sites at the very end of each area. so you can view wildlife if you'd like! and they give a much more open feeling, but I`m not stuck on that. We will be out every day till dusk I'm sure!

2017 reservations will be accepted MAY 1, 2016 for anytime 2017.

be sure to know the length of your trailer and the total length of trailer with truck.......

Ok. I'll call tomorrow. I can't find it on the website for Yellowstone or fishing bridge! Do I need to go through Xanterra itself?

For 2017 reservations you will need to plan on reserving around November or so - I believe they only except next year reservations in Nov or Dec. (at least online)
