Added a flag holder

First of many mods that I need to post. I wanted to be able to fly the US flag, and found myself always looking for a flat surface to set things on at the front of the camper. This is what I came up with.

See pictures in post 3, if interested......

I purchased the Flag Holder Hardware and used an old pool net pole as the flag pole.

Thanks for the nice comments. I went camping this weekend and it worked well. Easy to set up, and always lit. I would not fly it at night any other way....

Our flag at home fly's 24/7 and is lit at night.
I added a flag holder off the ladder on the rear and it also is lit at night.

Re PVC pipe flag holder. I use rebar for stake and emt conduit sleeve over rebar for smooth rotation. When storing for travel just insert stake in bottom section and hold in with same bolt or whatever is used at tee to hold pieces together.

Nice to see someone respecting the Flag by lighting it at night.

The light is a separate light mounted on the plate.
Purchased here, (though it is just aluminum color not black):

The flag holder is one designed for a wall, but it is adjustable, so I could mount it flat.

Nice!
Is the light built into the holder?

Looks good. I have seen several free standing flag holders made of PVC pipe. They seem to work well too.

Thanks westend!

I had perused the rv.net help with no luck. Did not see the 'forum help and support link'

Here we go pictures of my flag / beer holder....

Yup, read how to do it in the Forum Help and Support section, titled on the top of the page. Your link appears to be broken.
