I was watching a video that the RV Geeks posted on U Tube about how to secure the fitted sheets using men's suspenders. they did not say how they secured the top sheet. How do you guys or gals secure your sheets to the mattress? I see ours fall almost to the floor at the foot end of our bed. Have thought about getting some mattress pad holders but have not found what I'm looking for yet. give me a break, I have only been camping for 60 years now.

We have the camper sheets from amazon (seller ab lifestyles) and the top sheet is fitted at the foot end with 2 of the same elastic corners as the bottom fitted sheet has on all 4. Stays put at the bottom so far I must say they should have designed them like this years ago.

I altered both the top and bottom sheets: I positioned the TOP sheet on the bed and folded the sheet corners at the foot of the bed to resemble a fitted sheet then took it to the sewing machine and stitched. Our RV mattress is 6" shorter than the mattress at home so I sewed a 3" seam across the BOTTOM sheet to shorten it. I cut the excess off and enclosed the seam. Both fit perfect and stay put.

We have used sofabed sheets on one of our beds in the past. The cover sheet is sewn to the fitted sheet. In addition the corner pockets are extra deep. Dimensions are close to a camper queen but check before you buy.

hold on sheet grippers

I use them at home and in the trailer. I use them to hold the mattress pad along with the sheets. They work great.

Just pinch the sheets around the lower mattress bead and slide them onto the bead.

We use sleeping bags and avoid the issue.

My wife makes a pocket at the bottom of the top sheet. Sometimes she has to use another piece of material to make it long enough depending on how long the original top sheet is.
