On old TT, I did as RVcircus, and replaced hoses to tanks and changed to auto change over regulator. I decided to go to auto change over after having tank run out during a cold night over Thanksgiving weekend. That TT also required lighting pilot for water heater too, so I spent too much time outside when it was really cold doing things that I didn't want to do.
New TT, I am about to change out hose from regulator to main connection on TT. Squirrels gnawed on it in a couple of places and created a leaky line. This too was during cold Thanksgiving weekend. This time, I had an electric blanket with sufficient electric connection and was parked in side yard so could come inside for shower.
It seems Thanksgiving weekend seems to be the common thread for my propane upgrades/repairs. Hmmm.
