Finally done. Very tedious but clean. Remote sensor is in the running light.

Remotes are easy to find and buy on Amazon and are real cheap.

Nope! Hope that does not happen. But should it I think I can figure out something.

Do you also have a manual switch for if/when you lose or misplace the remote?

Thank you for the info. Nothing better than directions in English!

Thanks for linking!
I connected directly to an open 12V circuit on my converter > 14g silicone wire to the terminal block > terminal block to LED receiver > LED receiver to 16' LED extension via internal channel for the awning power > to LED light strip, (siliconed connection). Located the hole and connection for the running light. Drilled a small hole in the running light plate and ran the remote sensor to the hole. Done. I left out the 2hours plus that I used an electrical fish tape to run the 16' extension through the horizontal frame channel that was used for the awning power. Hope this helps.

Looks good. Did you hook directly to 12v? Can you do away with the AC to DC converter?

This should include all the parts I used. Except for the 9v adapter cable which I had from my guitar pedal spares.
