I ordered 10 of these (no longer available from) on June 2cd and received them today. I couldn't wait for the sun to drop to test them out.

They are as bright or a bit brighter than the original bulb and the color is close. You can see the difference here but it is harder to tell at full exposure. LED panel is on right.

I installed this one first and after a half hour it wasn't hot yet

Here the panel is above the stove and the regular bulb is above the sink. The frosted plastic of the hood light is dimming the LED some.

Hopefully these last as I am really happy with the output and color. One per fixture is enough for us. I also ordered ten of these for use in some of the fixtures for dimmer lighting. (no longer available) but even though I ordered them within minutes of the panels they will get here tomorrow.

The seller I used no longer has these, here is a link to pick the 48 LED panels up for 10 for $17.99 clicky
I have purchased and tested these and they are near identical to the first panels I bought last year.

I can appreciate your opinion but I just have not heard of any of the cheap LEDs going up in flames. Did some of the cheap ones you were using start a fire? If so please tell us which ones they were and where you got them so we can avoid them.

After two years of using both Cheap and expensive assys I'll stay with the expensive ones. The cheap one's are a fire hazard because the current limiting resistors burn up! The best use a regulator and each led has a heat sink.

My meter is out at the trailer but when I get it I'll check the draw on all 4 sets of LEDs I have.

That sounds about right TenBear. I have the 48-1210 in all the fixtures in our Lance Camper and on my meter, each LED panel draws a mere .3 amps. Far less that the 1.5a incandescent bulbs they replaced.

I'll check the other 120 unit too. As a porch light they are nice, I like to know what goes bump in the night.

Inside we still use the small cobs more than the panels. It's nice to evenly light the whole trailer rather than have a few bright spots.

Do you or anyone know what on of the 10x48 panels draws? I am running 12V floresants in my cabin and am wondering if 4 of the 10x48 panels uses less power than the two floresant tubes in the light.

Thanks

I have been using mine for almost a year now. Just got back from a full week in Mammoth and they are all still working perfect.

Great upgrade in my books !!

A half an amp is a lot less than I would have guessed. In everyday life I like a lot of light. ( old age ) but in the motor home I kind of like the low key light. I think I will be going with the cob style. But the 48 flat panel isn't to bad either.

Compared to most of the other LEDs we discuss the 120 units sound like power pigs. Still that's half the draw of a 921 bulb and much much brighter.

Edit
I ran a amp test on one of the 120 1210 LED cob this morning and .51A was what I got with my elcheapo HF multimeter.

Based on 0.22A for a 36-1210 panel, the 120 led should draw 0.733A.

So this 120 LED ClickSays it's for a fog light replacement. What kind of current would it draw? That looks like it would fill the bill for the patio light but geez even though it's LED it's got to draw some power, of course it doesn't give a lumen #.

I still like the original 48 1210 panels I put in. They are a good match as well as brightness. Aside from the one that lost a solder joint they are going strong including the one I left on for the durability test a few months ago. It's been running non stop since April.
The small cobs I posted on are not nearly as blue as the pictures make them out to be.

The only issue I have with the 10 pack of panels I bought for $17.99 shipped is that they are a bit more yellow than the first set. other than that they are a great buy.

I wish they had the same type deal on a recommended cob style. While others have had issues with the tape failing, it took me forever to get the broken panel off of the fixture. I didn't want to pry it off because I knew it was repairable so I had to slowly work a knife thru the tape. The cobs pop in and out like a regular bulb.
