Need mod to do.

Guess I turned into a mod junky with nothing to do as I check this forum about once a day to see if anyone posted up something cool I would want to do but alas nothing yet. Guess i'm about done playing with the camper.

So far I have installed solar, inverter with dedicated plugs, sewer hose fence post tube, shelves in both bedroom closets, numerous 3M hooks, horizontal shelf dividers in all cupboards, motion sensor porch light, electric tongue jack, fridge freezer temp sensors and I'm sure other stuff I forgot.

About the only thing left I want to do is put in a positive and negative bus bar behind the battery so I can get rid of most of the battery cables hooked to the batterys.

Guess I will just have to go camping.

I endorse the auxiliary backup/worklights. Great for setting up camp. I tucked mine under the rear step bumper and they are very well protected. I can turn them on at the driver at any time or switch them into the circuit with the backup lights. (Necessary to avoid blinding folks in the parking lot.)

I got the original idea from a Jeep Forum HERE

Be Warned. Check your relay wiring diagram. Mine did not match his numbering scheme. I also added a switch between the backup light circuit and the relay.

You could always enclose/skin the rails with coreplast. That would keep mud from accumulating. That's what I originally planned until I saw that I wasn't picking up any road grime. So I never did it.

DId this so I could travel with my 6' table for cooking without storing it on the bed during travel. 4k miles and going strong. Absolutely love it.

This is a great idea but I would need a hose to clean off the table once I get to the spot some times. If its wet I have gravel road slim all the way up the front of the trailer and the bell covered in it, when its really nasty I spend $15.00 at the car wash just getting the big chunks off the trailer. Maybe with the outside shower I could hose the table off and be good to go as I do want to get the two 3x4 tables I carry out of the way.

I'm going to do this one for sure. 2 or 3 guys during hunting season, yep this would be handy.

An upgrade to Equa-Flex and a wet bolt kit is relatively inexpensive and darn good investment as well.

Is the underside well-insulated? There is nothing that is so much darn fun as sliding around on your back under a trailer with your arms extended over your head for hours on end, applying your favorite insulation -- fiberglass? reflectix? spray foam?

Make sure to save this project for a hot buggy day for true mod enjoyment!!

Just go to the thread:" Building Driveway Ramps". This will keep you occupied for a long time just figuring out how to stick a couple 2x10"'s under a camper. ๐Ÿ™‚

I was going to suggest a new trailer to start over, but since it is only a year old.... guess that is not an option! Lol

Not sure what to suggest! Maybe new kitchen faucet if it's a cheap(er) one??? Add a second, dorm size fridge for the adult drinks?

Dakota,

Nice table mod! For when I need to add water to the fresh water tank I bought a battery powered kerosene transfer siphon pump. Just hope the batteries are good to go when I may need it! Lol

While this would be good I'm and old duck hunter and learned a long time ago to lightly place my left foot on the brake pedal just enough to get the brake lights to turn on. Been backing boats down dark crappy ramps for years doing this and since I don't back my trailer much in the dark I figure the brake light trick works just fine.
