Reroute Sewer Pipe Under Camper

Our current 5er has two sewer hookups. I'm thinking about rerouting the pipe from the rear connection to the front one so that I will have only 1 hookup. There is plenty of space between the axles and underbelly and I can get plenty of drop for material to flow. I am just curious if anyone has ever done this. If so, any advice as to what I should watch out for so I don't have any problems.

When I bought my RV 12 years ago I discovered the sewer pipe blocked the spare tire from being accessed. The dealer rerouted the sewer pipe and it has been fine ever since. No reason not to re-route it AFIK.

That's pretty much exactly how our last TT was built. I say go for it.

Excellent idea. You never know when you will have to dismantle it for easier access to something.

Yes, done that!! Works great, and only occasionally will there be any liquid in the line after dumping (from kitchen tank). Never have any black stuff in the pipe since it's up front and unchanged. Makes dumping much quicker and less work if you're somebody that uses 2 hoses to get the job done!!

Good slope of course, but that will change according to the dump site!! One thing I did and recommend is put rubber connections in the pipe as necc so if you need to get to the slide mechanism (if under trailer) can be accessed if needed.
