5th Wheel Roof

Have a fairly new 5th wheel less than 6 months old. Noticed on the roof that there are few air pockets or spots where there are bubbles and it is not (what would you say) glued down. Is this normal or is it an indications of future problems. They are not very large maybe a couple of inches in diameter.

The roof is adhered with adhesive. Bubbles are indications of spots that aren't adhered. I won't really affect the performance of the roof and is more just an unsightly issue.

I had several bubbles on our unit when we purchased it, most the size of a credit card. Had dealer look at and they sent pix to FR. FR said not to worry, they will go away once the weather cools down and should not reappear. They were correct, two years later no issues, though I still have pix and dealer documentation just in case. Have your dealer look at, document it and call mfg. Good luck. Happy camping

Document it now. Lots of pics and make sure the dealer sees (and officially documents it in writing) this and even contact the mfr CS dept and send =them= pics. I might look up a friend with a GoPro camera and mount that on the roof to see what's happening as you drive down the road at speed. Sometimes they'll stay just that same size until you get rid of the rig, sometimes they'll lead to a complete failure.

Our 5th wheel had no bubbles so I would say may lead to problems down the road.

I've seen 5th wheels going down the highway with a large bubble of roofing material, the bubbles are as big as a beach ball.
