Quick question what do you carry for a air compressor to air up to 80psi my old trusty inflator 12volt worked fine on the 65psi tires but struggles and shuts down around 72psi looking for a new one, tried a small pancake can't get them up above 75 looking for something to carry along that's not to big.

Well I kinda went overboard on my system -- but what the heck. I have 2 Viair 480C compressors mounted on the frame with 2 - 5 gallon tanks mounted up under the rear fender wells. It is a 200 psi system. I have air connections on each side -- one is 200 psi and the other is 150 psi -- it is on a regulator. The reason for the regulator side is that I wanted air horns -- for those people who insist on pulling out in front of you. I installed a set of Hornblaster Shockers -- 4 horn system up under the drivers side seat. They are seriously loud. But like I said -- what the heck.
The system has come in handy from changing tires with an air impact gun to jacking up the truck with an air bottle jack. Also helps airing up my tires 120 psi truck, 125 psi trailer.

Enjoy the road.

We do.

You're getting lots of replies for 110V (AC) compressors.

Do you want another 12 volt DC - or 110V AC?..:@

For 110V - Harbor Freight.

For 12V - ?????

IMO - best, easiest - with *NO* power source required = CO2 tank.

Went with the VIAIR 300P, 150lb max. Called the company's help line, told them my tires (31") and they suggested this one. Tried it out the other day, I like it, very fast. Not cheap. It does squeeze under the back seat.

I would like one that will do my 110 PSI tires! My 120 PSI Harbor Freight won't. My neighbors 120 Craftsman won't. Getting tired of hauling the rig to Les Schwab for air when needed...but then again I can't spend a zillion dollars on an expensive compressor. :R

I purchased a Slime 40026 2X Heavy Duty Direct Drive Tire Inflator on Amazon for $65. Amazingly quiet and fast.

The price is now $87.

My tires need a bit more than 80psi so I went higher psi but kept it small tank. BOSTITCH CAP1512-OF 1.2 Gallon Oil-Free High-Output Trim Compressor 150psi

It works great for topping off even my large tires and fills em pretty fast.

Any compressor that will put out 120 psi should work. Compressors with a lower rating will do the job but may take forever to do it.

I also have a Viair 400P, 12V. Expensive but small and really does the job. Takes one of my truck tires from 50 to 80 psi in three minutes.
