Am I good?

At first I wanted a bumper pull TH around 27', but then I seen a 5th wheel @31' and after a little research I've concluded it's a pretty decent built TH. Attitude 28SAG.
I'm hoping my Truck isn't too tall with the Carli suspension. It's a 3" kit with 37" meats.
I measured the bed rail hight this morning and I'm at 61 inches. Is this hight within the acceptable range of hooking up to a TH? Will I need an axle flip on the 28SAG?

Thanks. No I haven't, I have a few months still before I can buy, but this whole researching processes is a PITA. When I think I like one I see there are many problems with it on line or by taking to someone in person. It seems every manufacturer has problems, some more than others. I wish I could go to an RV expo and see all the difference manufactures in one place.

We just had our Annual RV Expo in Pomona, CA.

I have a set of Timbrens

that should work. just know they're very soft, my son put some on his truck and proceeded to really mess up the whole thing. Guess he thought he was going to go offroad racing.

My tires are 37x13.50 18R with "D" load rating. This has crossed my mind and I'm pretty sure I'm going to wind up buying a pair of 37x13.50 20R "E" load dating tires for the rear only when it comes to towing a 5th

I think I would be scared to tow a raised fiver with your truck. The 37's don't have the stiff sidewall needed for stability, they are off road tires. If you do it, take it slow on a side road to get the feel before venturing on the highway.

On my 2016 F250 I did a 2.5" leveling kit with a 3" rear blocks. I have 35" tires on and my trailer rides a couple of inches nose high when my truck is leveled out with the airbags at 40lbs. If I were let air out of the air bags and sag I'd probably be close to level. I also dropped my hitch as low as it could go. As far as the axles being flipped, they are already flipped on 18 and newer 28SAG's. There are no wheel wells in the interior of the trailer. The springs ride on top of the axles. If you are near the 562 area you're welcome to come out, hook up your truck to my trailer and take a look.

I have a 35ft 5th

My bed rails are 59. 235/85 tire and lowering my my pin box has got me pretty level. My trucks a dually and i get about 3" squat.

Shorter 5ths are harder to level.

YES.....
AT 61" to truck bed rail you will need to lift the 5th wheel in order to:
*Tow level
*Have at min 6" bedrail clearance

That would require:
*Axle Flip.....moving leak springs to top of axles IF not already on top
*A 3"--4" 'sub-frame' (cut spring shackles OFF, weld boxed tubing in needed height 3",4" 6" etc to obtain level tow/bedrail clearance), weld shackles back on and add cross tubing for lateral support


Or go back stock on truck and maybe have clearance/towing level with just adjustments to pin box/hitch
