Back Up Camera ?

Hey all
I'm beginning to prep my Jayco Eagle 293 RKS for my annual trip to Wisconsin for the airshow and I want to install a backup camera on the rear of the 5th wheel. I pull a small 5'x8' trailer behind the 5th wheel trailer and I would really like to keep an eye on it for my 200 mile trip.
Does anyone have any advice on a brand of camera/monitor system ? My rig only sees the road once a year for this 400 mile round trip, so the camera doesn't have to be anything fancy and I'd like to keep it all in the $100 range.

Thanks !

Scott

I installed the Voyager wireless on my 40 ft trailer and it works great. The only problem is the price-- street price $620. It uses digital wireless technology and my receive shows 4 bars of signal. The main advantage is that It is can be installed and removed easily. Also I installed a second wired el-cheapo $20 camera that works with the wireless monitor in conjunction with the wireless camera. Very happy with the system.

What I did was to run the cable along the belly until I got to the front. Then, I ran it along the very edge of the curved area until I got it to the kingpin. I went to Lowes and got some strips of the white plastic stuff used to hide computer cables in offices and used it to cover the coax. You'd never know it was there unless you went looking for it.

thanks. the manual says 4.3" diagonal monitor, probably 8 in with all the buttons and screen surround.

how do you plan to run the wires from the monitor to the back of the trailer?

I plan on pulling down one side of the belly and run the wires above that. I'm still at a quandary about how to get them up from the bottom to the king pin. I was looking around with my drill and snake and drilled a freaking hole through the shell of the fiberglass just above the front storage.:S. Once it gets cooler again I will play with it some more. Too darn hot and humid in Alabama.

I bought a came ram system from Harbor Freight for $69.00. It has two cameras and a 8 inch monitor. I have not permanently hooked it up yet, just zip tied to my ladder. Picture quality is great even at night. Great price for a decent little camera set.

This will work perfect...Thanks!

Http://Www.4ucam.com has a wifi setup. I am about to install it.
Wired from rear of trailer to hitch, wifi from there. I have a spare 7 in tablet for the monitor. Still not cheap.

Gonna add a second camera on the FWhitch

We are getting one installed Monday but it is $850.00 just for the truck. It might be a better product than anything $100.00 can buy. It will be in the rear view mirror.
