Bought a Elevation, bought a problem

Would be nice if I could provide a photo but don't know if it's possible here. Just description alone won't do this justice. But here is my list of 2013 Elevation 3410 issues. I bought in December of 2012, lived in it for 6 months (when it wasn't in the shop). Put less than 200 miles on it currently (mostly accumulated from trips to the dealer for service).

Furnace will not blow strong
Water pump was defective low/surging pressure
Leak in bottom of shower into cargo area.
Very difficult to open / close entry door
Factory Wired Breaker Overload Issue
Leaks around kitchen sink
Skylight Leaked
Water damage to floor structure
Ceiling Panel Damage
Blue Control Panel LED switch indicators went out
Tank level indicators not accurate
Kitchen Lights not working
Kitchen Light fixture fell and busted glass
Damaged Counter Top
Trim Pieces falling from slides
Freshwater Tank draining itself
Black tank leaking
Short in Security Light Circuit
External Speakers falling apart
External Graphics not properly applied
Kitchen Sink water pressure problem
Sliding Glass Doors bind up and won't lock
No handles installed on ramp in rear
Fridge will not keep cold
Main slide binds up on extend/retract
A/C condensation leaks into living areas.
Awning has 0 pitch so it collects water.
Finding screw heads throughout unit (displaying structural integrity)
Silicone not properly applied to exterior creases allowing water and debris entry.
Stools provided with unit fell apart and had to be reassembled.

This is most of what I experienced, surely there will be more to add this is all off the top of my head. The plan for this unit is to be returned for exactly what was paid. I feel robbed to have paid nearly $50,000 for something that keeps on and on with the problems and challenges, there's nothing desirable about it and who would want the burden once the factory warranty expires.
I want it all, and I want it now.

My RV dealer carried Crossroads until ~2 years ago when their quality went to hell and he dropped them from his line up. Makes sense now that I see this.

I hope you get it worked out but did you know that you may have voided your warranty by living in it? Many RVs have a disclaimer about full time use. Don't tell anyone you lived full time in it.

Sounds quite similar to our "former" Cyclone. Unfortunately, it was repairs, repairs, repairs for almost two years. Once it got it to where it seemed to be working fairly decent, somebody bought it.

I have grown to have zero confidence in Heartland, Keystone, Dutchmen, Crossroads, etc. when it comes to these toy haulers. I can spend the money but their product just doesn't appear to be worth it.

Life was so much simpler when we had a TT. 1/3 the cost and virtually zero problems.

OMG, absolutely depressing. IMO, this manufacturer has no business being in business, period.

FWIW, the secondary, collateral damage caused by the water leaks would be especially concerning to me.

Sure hope you get everything resolved one way or the other.

The light fixture wasn't even screwed, it was secured by what looks like less than a "finish" nail, and silicone(all of which didn't make contact with the ceiling panels. What started the problem is even more problematic, the condensation from the A/C isn't exiting the unit, instead its flowing into the space between the exterior roof and the ceiling panels, you can see the water damage in the photos.

Another two things to add to the list:
Electrical outlet cover plates are all popping off.
Black tank rinse system doesn't work.
I want it all, and I want it now.

I looked at one at a local dealer a couple weeks ago and there was quite a nice gap when the ramp door was closed. Lots of light coming in around the top of the door.

I was looking at a 3616 at a RV show here in AZ months ago and noticed a stress crack outside by the bedroom slide from the edge of the slide down to the bottom of the trim (about 4" long)and the Crossroads rep told me that usually that is covered up with a piece of trim but somehow this one didn't have it???

I love how they use the typical screws that are too short and bite into 1/8" ceiling board to hold 100+ pounds of light fixtures and wood trim. Brilliant,

Yet another example of how Crossroads went form a premier builder to a modern day joke.

That's one heck of a list containing a significant amount of serious defects. Sure hope they can get them all fixed to your satisfaction, but it might be easier for them to just exchange it for a new rig, although I doubt they would do so without legal action. By the way, tank level sensors are pretty much useless even when functioning as designed. Good luck and keep us posted as to how the manufacturer responds to such an obvious lemon.
