Cord re-wiring

I needed to put a new cord on my fifth wheel... The one that is connect at the junction box at the pin box and plugs into the truck... The question I have is , I cannot verify the wiring is tight... I used what I had available and have no truck to verify.....

Is there a diagram that I can look at to see which wire in the junction box is for what ??? That way if something is not working when I check , I can go directly to that connection....

Thanks in advance

Same wiring, just different drawing as link I posted so now 2 for this diagram. Randu

Well... As it turns out , I did not need the diagram after all... I was replacing my cord with a new one , and was second guessing my wire nuts... I hooked up and all worked perfectly! Just wanted to know as I would not have the truck back till I had to hook up.. did not want to run around trying to figure out which wire nut was loose... Thanks all

This looks like a Commercial Truck Plug-see the round pins. There are no RV Trailers with a #2--ICC Marker. I have always used the Bargeman Style.

My ford truck has a quick diagram on the face plate of the 7-way connector that shows what is on each of the 7 connections on the truck side. compare that against the color codes.

I have always had good luck with reading up on all of this from ETRAILER.COM on-line.

If you still have the original wired plug seems like you should be able to see which each color wire comes from from each of the 7-way connections. Then compare that to photos and pictorials from etrailer.com on which one to purchase.

If you have the correct cable it is very easy to change out color for color in the trailer cable junction box on the trailer side.

Good luck Breeze! This has always been a pita to figure out...ask ten people, get ten answers! Not sure what the standard is in Anywhere but in La Grande, OR where they build the Arctic Fox it's Bargeman...

The 7 way in the LINK is exactly how my truck / trailer is wired as I just did it last week. Randu

That is exactly why I am asking... I actually found 2 online... Both were different...
#1 was that
#2 was the following:
Red- left signal and brake light
Green-running lights
Black-power line/ battery charger
Brown-right signal and brake light
Yellow-back up lights- not used
Blue-brake controller/brakes
White-ground..

So which do I believe?
